The High School Book Club has two books going at the moment. We’ll be finishing up our discussion on Elizabeth Acevedo’s The Poet X at our next meeting as well as start on Christina June’s, No Place Like Here. After spending the day with Christina at the shop we are all fangirling and loving the beautiful worlds she creates, often modeled from places very close to home! Hint: does the retreat center in No Place Like Here remind you at all of our beloved Airlie?? Signed copies of Christina’s books are available at the shop. Teen club dates Tuesday June 25 at 5:00 and Tuesday July 9 at 5:00. Note: while M&M’s will be available to the crew, we are responding to the group interest in goldfish and will supply accordingly.
